About Me
Hello, I'm Jimmy. I am a professional carpet cleaner and I created DIYCarpetCleaner.com to teach everyday people how to remove difficult spots and stains from carpet.
Check out the stain library, where you can find guides on how to remove many different types of spots and stains from carpet. I am constantly building the stain library to make it bigger and better. If you see something you would like to see added to the library, go ahead and send me an email to make a request.

My Mission
-
To help people... If you are trying to remove a difficult spot or stain from carpet, I want to help you. I create YouTube videos, and articles that are filled spot and stain removal advice. If you are struggling with a unique problem, you can even email me through the contact me page, or comment on one of my YouTube videos and I'll do my best to help you out!
-
To help you save money... Many professional carpet cleaners do great work but they typically charge you $100 minimum to even show up at your home. I want to show you how to remove stains with common, inexpensive cleaning agents. I want to show you everything that I know about cleaning carpet so that you can save hundreds or even thousands of dollars on carpet cleaning fees.
-
To help you extend the life of your carpet... Replacing your carpet can be a big financial cost and can put a big toll on the environment. I want to share stain removal methods that are safe and gentle on your carpet. I want to show you how to remove set-in carpet stains so you don't end up replacing your carpet before the end of it's life.

My Story
I first started carpet cleaning when I was in university. I was going to be in school for 5 years, and I was looking for a way to support myself through my degree. I signed up for an IICRC Carpet Cleaning Course, read some carpet cleaning books, purchased some equipment, and then launched a small carpet cleaning business. I cleaned on evenings, weekends, in between classes, and during the summer break. I learnt a lot of skills along the way, and now I want to share my knowledge with others through DIYCarpetCleaner.com.
